Werbel Microwave develops 10dB 0.5-6.0GHz couplers

Werbel Microwave continues to roll out excellent products suited for microwave test and measurement, D.A.S. and signal integrity applications.  

Our newest addition to the series of "brick" directional couplers currently in development is the 10-dB single directional coupler spanning 500-MHz to 6-GHz, continuously.

Preliminary specifications are as follows:

Coupling Tolerance: 10 +/- 1.0 dB
Coupling Flatness (Sensitivity): +/- 0.5 dB typ.
Directionality: 18 dB min.
Return Loss (all ports): 1.2:1 typ.; 1.3:1 max.
Insertion Loss: 0.9 dB max. (includes loss due to coupling split)
